Diane Babcock
I have lived locally in the area most of my life, with the last 20 years as a resident of Granite Bay. When I was 20 years old my husband Tim and I watched as our first house was being built. That was the beginning of our 30-year journey working side by side in Real Estate as both a passion and a profession. Our lives were enriched further when we adopted our son Tom at three years of age.
About 12 years ago I started working our family real estate business on my own as Tim became seriously ill. An initial misdiagnosis brought about life-changing challenges that strengthened our little family, and at times consumed our energy; but Tim never lost his positive attitude or ability to guide and contribute. With his strength and my resolve to continue what we started together I am a top producer, Diamond Society Award Recipient and Life Member of the Sacramento and Placer Associations of Realtors Masters Club. Sadly, for all his strength and fighting valiantly, Tim passed away in 2016.
A part of our success is our broker and mentor, Clay Sigg. We have been with Clay most of our career. His 42 years of real estate experience and many years as a leader in the Sacramento and California Association of Realtors has been a great support. I am excited that I have recently followed Clay from Coldwell Banker to Diez and Sigg Properties. With change comes more opportunities and I am looking forward to that.
My clients are why I love what I do. Whether they are buying or selling, I always look forward to sharing my real estate experience and knowledge to help them achieve their home ownership dreams. I am excited to further share this passion with my son Tom, who at 19 years old has the ‘real estate’ bug.
This is my journey and I look forward to helping my clients begin or continue in their own journey to owning their dream home. My goal is to relieve the stress of selling and buying, be detailed-oriented, communicate thoughtfully and advocate in behalf of my clients. Together, we will inspire each other. I listen and I care.
